Welcome to the ranch! Our names are Kenneth & Dee Bartee (standing) and Dale & Deanna Bartee (seated). With the help of two very ambitious little boys, we own and operate this beautiful ranch we call home. Our ranch was started in 1925 by George Bartee and has been past down through four generations, with the fifth eagerly learning the skills necessary to carry on our legacy.
Although ranching is not the easiest of careers, it is a career that we love dearly. Actually, it is more than a career it is a lifestyle. We are passionate about the land and animals that God has entrusted to our care. Waking up to the sound of the rooster crowing and looking out the window to see healthy crops and livestock is priceless to us. We look forward to spring and the sight of newborn calves and in the summer there is nothing more fulfilling to us than checking our crops on an early summer morning as the dew sparkles on the leaves. We believe it is an honor and privilege to raise quality food for the world. Our crops include alfalfa hay that feed our animals as well as supply many dairies around the country. Also, depending on markets, we raise feed barley, wheat, quinoa, and flax. Our Hereford cattle are known for their great tasting beef they produce. Our son Kolby has a poultry and swine business that he runs and our son Tyler raises sheep for meat and for show stock. The money the boys earn from these endeavors is set aside for their college education in a few years. We look forward to doing business with you and sharing our blessings. |
